ARMENIAN DM TO PARTICIPATE FEBRUARY 4-5 IN THE WORKING MEETING OF THE DEFENSE MINISTERS OF INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ASSISTANCE FORCE IN AFGHANISTAN Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will participate February 4-5 in Istanbul in the working meeting of the defense ministers of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. Defense Ministry’s press and information department official told Armenpress that Afghan defense minister, special representative of UN in Afghanistan, EU high commissioner on common defense and security policy issues will participate in the meeting. During the gathering the participants will discuss the transition strategy for Afghanistan, development of abilities of Afghan people, etc. Within the framework of the visit the Armenian minister will have separate meetings with his counterparts and will visit Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople. |
