OSCE SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE ON NAGORNO KARABAKH TO BE APPOINTED An OSCE Parliamentary Assembly special envoy on conflicts in the South Caucasus may be appointed during the organization's winter session on Feb. 24-25 in Vienna, Trend news reported. Former OSCE PA Special Representative on Nagorno Karabakh and Georgia Goran Lennmarker left the post in November. Lennmarker was not been reelected in the parliamentary elections in Sweden in September and is no longer a member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly president is authorized to appoint a special envoy at any time. However, no candidates for the post have yet been announced. |
